So, drink a full glass of water and wait for a few minutes to find whether it is really thirst or hunger. Do  not take the meal unless and until you are feeling really hungry. When the hunger is still continuing, the water you have consumed would have occupied some space in your stomach and so you will be able to eat only lesser amounts of meals. If you have a great desire for sugary drinks, trick yourself by adding some lemon to a cup of water to get the taste of sugary drink.

Calorie count: When it comes to weight loss, calorie count plays an important role. So, be careful about the level of calories you are consuming. Try to find out the level of calories present in each and every item you eat in a given day and add the figures at the end of each day. This figure is the number of calories you are consuming per day. Consult a weight loss expert to find how many calories are needed for your body to lose weight. Slow-digesting foods: Do not consume foods that can digest at a faster pace. Rather, when you can consume some foods that will take longer hours for digestion, you can feel fuller for longer hours and this will protect you from eating more out of hunger.
