Homemade packs to cure blackheads

How odd it will be to have blackheads on a white face. It looks odd…really odd….nothing to worry if you have blackheads. Stop worrying and start using these easy home remedies for blackheads.

What are blackheads?

To say it in common language, the blocked skin pores are nothing but blackheads. When the skin pores get blocked due to hair follicles, oil, dead skin cells, and keratin the blackheads arise. These commonly grow on nose, forehead and cheeks. Blackheads are more rampant for oily skin people when compared to dry and normal skinned people.

Causes of blackheads:

  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Anxiety and stress
  • Smoking
  • Alcohol
  • Cosmetics
  • Uncleanly skin
  • Caffeine

Here are few natural remedies to cure blackheads using kitchen items.

Baking soda:

Make a paste by mixing baking soda with lukewarm water. Use this paste to massage on the blackheads. While massaging you should rotate your fingers in a rectangular shape. Doing so will open up the clogged skin pores and blackheads will pop out. Wash off with water and apply a good moisturizer.

Organic raw honey:

Take one tablespoon of pure raw honey and one tablespoon of pure milk. Mix them and boil for 10 seconds. Allow it to cool and mix well again. Apply this on blackheads. Apply this mix as a layer on the blackheads. Take a dry cloth and stick it on the layer, once the cloth sticks well to the skin pluck it with force. By doing so, the blackheads will come along with the cloth. Finally clean well the face with lukewarm water.

Tomato:

Tomatoes are good at lessening blackheads. Apply tomato pulp on the face before hitting the bed and cleanse off the next day morning. Repeat the process for a couple of weeks and you can see lessening of blackheads.

Yogurt and oatmeal:

Take 2 tablespoons of oatmeal, 3 tablespoons of yogurt, 3 teaspoons of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Mix all of them well and use this serum on the face. Leave it for 15 minutes and wash off with water. Do so till the blackheads turn away.

Toothpaste:

Apply a thin layer of toothpaste on the areas of blackheads. Allow it to stay for 25 minutes and wash off with cold water. Doing so for 2 weeks will ward off blackheads.

Honey and egg white:

Take two egg whites and 1 teaspoon honey. Stir them well and apply this mask on face. Stay for half an hour and wash with water.

Cinnamon and honey:

Take equal quantities of cinnamon powder and honey. Mix them well to make a paste. Apply this paste on face and place a clean cloth on the face. Wait for 5 minutes and wash off with water.

Follow these above natural remedies and you can see the warding off blackheads easily.
