Essential Oil Mask
This a wonderful DIY hair mask that you can make easily with one tablespoon of coconut or olive oil and one or two drops of peppermint essential oil. Mix together the warm olive oil with a few drops of peppermint essential oil and massage into your scalp. Cover with a plastic shower cap and leave in for about half an hour. Then wash off with a mild shampoo. This treatment will strengthen and nourish your hair leaving you with shiny strong hair.
Hair Mask with Egg
Take one tablespoon of egg yolk in a bowl and add one or two drops of olive oil to it. Beat the mixture well to form an even mixture. Apply on hair and rinse with very cold water. Use this hair mask once every month to keep your hair well moisturized and nourished. You can also mix egg yolk with liquid honey to get a deep conditioning mask that stimulates your roots and nourishes the scalp.
Yogurt Hair Mask
Mix one fourth cup of plain organic yogurt with one-fourth cup of mayonnaise. Mayonnaise is known for its deep conditioning properties and yogurt accelerates hair growth, its protein content providing deep hydration. Together they leave your hair feeling delightfully soft and smooth.
Banana Mango Hair Mask
Take half a banana or a full banana depending on your hair. Cut it into thin slices and place them in a bowl. Add 3-4 slices of mango and two tablespoons of coconut oil. Mix all the ingredients together and add some yogurt for better results. Better still, put the mixture in a blender and make a fine paste without any lumps and apply the mixture on your hair. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse off with a mild shampoo.

Mix equal parts of freshly squeezed lemon juice with olive oil or coconut oil and apply to your hair and scalp. Leave on for some time and wash off with a gentle shampoo. Your hair will be left with a natural shine and radiance.
