Breakfast cannot be skipped, but many skip it due to lack of time. If you are also the one then these easy to make and healthy breakfast recipes are for you. Have a look at quick breakfast ideas.

1) Banana apple porridge:

Ingredients needed:

  • ½ cup of apple slices
  • 1 cup of banana slices
  • ¼th cup of Rolled oats
  • 2 teaspoons of low-fat butter
  • 2 cups of low-fat milk
  • 1/4th cup of cracked wheat
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar powder
  • 1/4th teaspoon of cinnamon powder

Preparation method:

  • Heat butter in a pressure cooker and add cracked wheat. Fry wheat on low flames for a minute
  • Add oats and fry for 2 more minutes
  • Add milk and a cup of water.
  • Place the lid and boil till you get 2 whistles
  • Add cinnamon powder and stir well
  • Allow it to cool totally and place in fridge for an hour
  • Before you eat, add apple and banana slices

2) Banana almond butter toast:

Ingredients needed:

  • 3 tablespoons of almond butter
  • 4 slices of wheat bread
  • 1 banana (cut into slices)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • Cinnamon powder for taste

Preparation method:

  • Cut the edges of bread slices
  • Add almond butter to the slices equally
  • Place banana slices on 2 bread slices and top them with the remaining 2 bread slices
  • Press the edges of the slices on four sides so that they don’t part off
  • Blend vanilla, egg and cinnamon powder
  • Place bread slices in this blend and see to that they absorb the blend
  • Take cooking pan and add butter
  • Now fry each side of the slices for a minute and eat hot

3) Oats dokla:

Ingredients needed:

  • 1 cup of instant oats
  • 1 carrot
  • ½ cup of semolina
  • ½ cup of capsicum slices
  • Pinch of turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Eno fruit salt
  • ½ cup of yogurt
  • Required amount of salt for taste
  • Coriander leaves pickle-1/4th cup

Preparation method:

First let us see how to make coriander curry pickle.

Ingredients needed:

  • 1 cup of coriander leaves grate
  • 2 green chilies
  • Small sized ginger slice
  • Pinch of sugar
  • Little amount of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of lemon juice
  • Grind them and you will get this pickle

Preparation method for oats dokla:

  • Fry oats and semolina separately without oil
  • Now add curd, salt, and turmeric to two of them and mix well
  • Add fruit salt to it
  • Grate carrot and add
  • Take a big pan and add 4 cups of water and boil well
  • Take a round cake tin and apply oil to it
  • Pour half mix in this and spread carrot slices, capsicum slices and 2 spoons of pickle
  • Now pour the rest of the mix
  • Again add all the slices and remaining pickle
  • Fix the cap and place the tin in boiling water for 15 minutes
  • Take it out and cut into slices once the box is cooled
