Taking painkillers has become common for many even when they can be forgone. According to doctors taking painkillers too often will raise many side effects and make the body immune to them eventually in the long run. Too much taking of painkillers will even lead to kidney and liver problems. When these many problems are associated with taking painkillers wont it be safe to use some other alternatives and one such alternatives is taking certain kind of foods that work as natural painkillers. Here is the list of natural foods for pain. All you need to do is to eat these foods for pain relief and save yourself from injecting artificial painkillers.

Grapes: Eating a cup of grapes daily will drastically bring down back pain. Grapes have the quality of increasing the blood flow in the area below the waist; increase in blood flow will automatically bring down the pain. So make it a habit to eat a cupful of grapes every day.

Pineapple: Pineapple too like grapes is very useful in pain management. This fruit has bromelain. Bromelain has the quality of improving blood flow between the muscles. Eating pineapple is highly useful in managing pains related to different types of arthritis and it also lessens cramps.

Garlic: Since ages garlic has been used as natural ingredient to fight pains and its usage is even high in these days, more importantly it is one item that is used widely in Ayurveda to treat pains. This is more useful in lessening joint pains. Take few drops of oil, heat along with garlic cloves and place these slices on the area that has pain to get quick relief. Garlic clove when placed along with some salt also relieves tooth pains.

Cloves: Cloves are highly useful in treating tooth pains. By mere placing clove near the aching tooth will give relief.

Turmeric powder: Turmeric has a chemical called as curcumin. This chemical has anti inflammatory properties and so turmeric is highly useful in managing pains. This is very useful in managing heart burns and arthritis pains.

Cherries: Cherries are red in color due to the presence of anthocyanins. This anthocyanins act as natural painkillers. They are highly useful in treating pains related to joints.

Oats: Oats are rich in magnesium and as we all know magnesium helps in relieving cramps in addition to warding them. Eating oats will also reduce menstrual cramps. They are also highly effective in reducing pains caused by endometriosis.

Blueberries: Blueberries are rich in antioxidants. Eating these will reduce the pains caused by infections in urinal tract. These are also useful in treating peptic ulcers, digestive problems and other urinal infections.

Cranberries: Same like blueberries cranberries also assist in managing pains related to urinal infections and ulcers. They also cure pains associated with indigestion. So when you feel you are having stomach ache due to indigestion drink cranberry juice.
