Don’t drink green tea….just eat it

We know green tea is healthy drink and so we drink every now and then. How would it be if you can eat green tea instead of drinking? Yes you heard it right…we are presenting you some green tea recipes that you can make using green tea and eat green tea instead of just drinking. Here are few healthy green tea recipes.

1) Green tea mud cake:

Ingredients needed to make green tea cake recipe of the above are:

  1. 250ml of water
  2. 125 grams of white chocolate
  3. 200 grams of butter
  4. 250 grams of sugar
  5. 225 grams of wheat flour
  6. 6 grams of baking powder
  7. 2 eggs
  8. 1 egg yolk

Ingredients needed to make white chocolate cream:

  1. 500 grams of white chocolate
  2. 500 grams of butter
  3. 500 grams of milk cream

How to prepare?

Take a big pan and add 250 ml of water, sugar and green tea sachets and boil well. Once the green tea bags are boiled remove them from the pan and add butter and chocolate to the substance. Next add wheat flour, eggs and egg yolk and mix them well till all get dissolved in the heated water. Now pour this mix in a baking tray and place it in oven for 20 minutes at 175 degrees heat. Cool the cake and place it fridge. Remove the cake from fridge when you feel like eating and apply white chocolate cream to it and cut into desired shape.

How to make white chocolate cream?

First heat milk cream and add white chocolate to it, stir both of them well till they get mixed up. Once this is done add butter and cool it and apply it on the cake.

2) Green tea cheese cake:

Ingredients needed:

  1. 320 grams of cream cheese
  2. 80 grams of sugar
  3. 4 green tea sachets
  4. 80 grams of egg yolk
  5. 6 grams of gelatin

Ingredients needed to make Raspberry coulis:

  1. 20 grams of Raspberry sauce
  2. 75 grams of sugar
  3. 5 grams of pectin

How to prepare?

Take a small mixing bowl and place egg yolk, tea sachets and water. Place the bowl in oven and heat it at 118 degrees temperature. We need to heat for five minutes so that egg yolk gets dissolved well. Remove it after five minutes and add gelatin to it. Cover the entire thing with whipping cream. Add Raspberry sauce and heat it till it gets thick. Cool it and serve.

4) Green tea vegetable sammi:

Ingredients needed:

  1. Tetley green tea bags-15
  2. 120 grams of boiled beans pieces
  3. 10 grams of carrot
  4. 120 grams of potato
  5. 40 grams of coriander leaves
  6. 1 tsp of cumin seeds powder
  7. 1 tea spoon of chaat powder
  8. 1 tsp of green chili pieces (cut vertically)
  9. Ghee and salt each in 1 tsp
  10. 25 grams of ginger slices
  11. 150 grams of boiled Bengal gram

How to prepare?

First boil tea bags and strain the tea, add beans and carrot to the tea and boil. Add separately boiled potatoes into already boiled mix of green tea, carrot and beans. Boil Bengal gram separately and make it into thick paste. Now add all the boiled vegetables to the paste and mix well. Take a pan and heat ghee, once ghee is heated, add green chili, ginger, coriander leaves and cumin seeds powder and fry well for 2 minutes. Finally add Bengal gram and vegetable mix and heat it for 15 minutes and take it off from the stove. Shape them into balls and eat.
